Sometimes limits are good
I believe that limits can be good for creativity. Too much information and the "no-boundary" concept seem to work less good for me. it makes me confused and overwhelmed. When I paint I often do one color at a time, just mixing it with different amounts of water and emulsions. Then I let it dry and do another layer with a new color. I also often work with two main colors to start with, mainly one light and one dark, often contrast colors. Then I slowly start to improvise. But I try to simplify things and create order out of chaos. Trying to make things more understandable.
