A reason to look back
There is a thousand reasons to be present, some reasons to plan for the future and sometimes it´s even ok to sneak back and look at the past for a while. At least when it comes to artwork. I went to my storage a few blocks away to look for a lamp to my studio, but found something completely different.
Behind a big canvas there was a couple of smaller ones that I painted 20 years ago. They looked like hell and I was glad I was alone in the warehouse, cause I felt kind of embarassed. But just for a short while, then I realized that this was a very good thing. If I feel a bit ashamed of something I did before, It has got to mean that I´ve developed and learned something along the way. So I went back home. Very happy. Without the lamp.
